Azad Zamani of the Society for the Protection of Children’s Rights has said that Zhila’s health has been rapidly deteriorating.

I was unable to find this story on any Iranian official news site. It would be unfair to comment without hearing the other side of the story. All I could find were article like this one written by anti-government exiles.

According to the Sunni jurists testimony of just one person, be it the father, is not enough to convict anyone of wrongdoing. Nor is mere pregnancy according to the majority opinion. Also stoning to death requires consummation of marraige.

What about thirteen? Like I mentioned before, Edgar Allan Poe, the poet, married his thirteen year old cousin Virginia at a time when American people were a lot more observant Christians than they are now. Do you think thirteen is okay but not nine? Yes or No?
