Will 9 year old girls ever be safe under Islam?

9 year old girls are classed as adults while boys become adults at 18, the 9 year old girl can be stoned to death, while the boy of 14 is protected because he is classed as a child.

Is that true Samantha ? I cant understand, the logic behind this, classification. If they are taking puberty as the metric for measurement of adulthood, than it should be 9 to 11 for girls and 13 to 14 for boys.

 

that is true, a girl is an adult on her 1st period and the boys have an age set for adulthood of their 18th birthday, i believe it changes from state to state between 16 and 18 for boys.

i have found a page that mentions a 10 year old being stoned, this can only be a female because boys are not adults at age 10. but i am trying to find other places that mention the stoning of this 10 year old.

I too, love blowing shit up, as a kid, I used to play with fire works and fire a lot. Now that I have a kid of mine, my parents are very much against the idea of teaching or showing those stuff to my son. I wont even say, what my wife thinks about it
