I have the following scenario and need to figure out how to configure my webconfig. I have www.domain1.com. It's my primary website. I have www.domain2.com. When a user types in this webaddress, I need the domain to redirect to www.domain3.com (not owned by me). I've used url rewriting in the past to make my links more search engine friendly: www.domain1.com/file.aspx?what=ever turns into www.domain1.com/what_ever.aspx So, I'm assuming url rewriting will do the same thing.
The url doesn't need to change though. If they typed in www.domain2.com, then it needs to remain www.domain2.com on their browser after it redirects to www.domain3.com.
Thanks for the tips on this thread. I've been looking for a solution to ASP non-www to www redirects. Hopefully one of these will work.
Hi, Are you using IIS version 7 ? Do not cut short his/her thread. That 's a impolite action ! Why not open a new own thread ?
