Will homos ever become acceptable to Christianity?

I think in recent years, the Church has becoem much more acceptable and welcoming to homos. I find this to be incredibly contradictory as this is considered a great sin in the religion. I thought every gay was an athiest or did not believe in God. Anyway, surely, the attitude of the church cannot go on for any longer otherwise it will - if not already - become the laughing stock of the world.

 

Yes I have and I'm glad they are. I see quite a few churches downtown baring the gay flag symbol.

We can have a debate if homosexuality is wrong according to the bible or not interpretations are different

No, of course they shouldn't be killed. They should be allowed to get on doing whatever they do. But according to the bible, being gay is one of the great sins, am I right or wrong?

 

The church will do whatever it takes to bring more people in to it's cult with the intention of getting money from them. A gays money can be spent just like a straights money. It's all money to the church.

Of course this new found tolerance from the church goes directly against the bible which calls homosexuality an "abomination".
Which begs the question: What's more important to the church? Amassing more drones and more money, Or the word of "god"?

 

I also can't belive how some of the clergymen who dedicate themselves to the church and the teachings of the bible can play around with young boys.

 

Christianity is _supposed_ to be tolerant and forgiving, that is the whole principle. Homosexuality will always be wrong, according to Christianity, but the acceptance of homosexuals as sinners will continue to grow in the future.

 

Quest, as a muslim, do you believe "homos" will be accepted in islam? Or will they continue to be "outed" like in Iran, and hanged to death?

 

Or fifty+ year old prophets that play around with young girls

Are these gays getting executed? Maybe they did another crime , one that is serious enough to merit the death penalty. Personally, I am not a huge fan of the death penalty but I feel its deserved in rare cases. I still feel sorry foese guys because I feel jailing them for life would be better, if they committed a serious crime. Remember, under Goerge Bush's giverniership in Texas, the rate executions increased greatly.

 

Seiously? Well, I didn't know calling gays homos was offensive. I seriously didn't.

 

They were executed. Their crime? Being gay. I don't recall GWB executing anyone for being gay.

This is what AGS and stOx will face in a few years, as their country comes under sharia law.

I suppose next, stOx will ask why he shouldn't defend islam, or the laws of islam.

Calling gay people homos might be offensive to some, same as calling black people niggers might offend them.

 

Although am an Indian, and no supporter of Bush (sincer he banned Online Casino), but you cannot put the death penalty in Texas in the same league as death by stoning, in various middle eastern countries.

I have seen umpteen videos of the said stonings, the latest being the one posted by Samantha, on DP, and there was no serious crime involved, unless you classify, falling in love with a person of different faith, to be a serious crime.
