Google adsense account banned

Discussion in 'Guidelines / Compliance' started by JeremyFincham, Jul 9, 2007.

I recently had my adsense account closed, although I don't think I did anything wrong, and Google offered no explanation. I queried it with Google, and have had no reply. Although I was only making pennies from adsense, obviously I was very annoyed!

Has anyone else had this problem? Does anybody know of a way of getting unbanned?

Better check your spam box, it might be there. Also just move on and try other revenue sources.

you can fill out a form that is available with google and explain whole thing. If they will feel that there was nothing wrong from your site then and only then they can unban you.
But the fact is that they don't do that in most of the conditions.

my friends account was banned he signed up again with the same name and details and surprisingly he was accepted and running again the advertisements.
i dont know how was it possible and how did it happen. but the criteria is not good in adsense which accepts rejected ones also .

If you get banned, I wouldn't sign up again using the same IP or same info - or you'll probably just get banned again and lose anything you made the second time around as well.

Also, don't have all your eggs in one basket, ya know? AdBrite, etc. are all alternatives that you should be using in ADDITION to AdSense in my opinion.

Sorry to hear this :( The best thing you could do right now as far as adsense is concerned is just wait to see if they reply you.. You should try other networks anyways

it was a sad news indeed, its more surprise to know that without doing anything wrong you get banned...did you read carefully the google terms and conditions? anyhow let me tell you tht you can also make a new account, all you need to do is to make it from different IP, post your name slightly different, change the address you have given before..you can also rechange your adress after your new account is accepted....so dont be disappoint & go a step forward to make new one.:)

Thanks for all your sympathy guys. I will try opening a new account, and let you know how I get on. Just for the record I did not make much with adsense, but it's the principle of the thing. I don't want to get into slagging Google, because they do provide a unique service for free, but it does make you mad:mad:

Don't try to apply for the second account, instead keep sending adsense support an email every 4-5 days and wait for them to respond. Just tell them that you don't know what exactly caused this and you are willing to corporate with them and provide them all the stats they need. They might just reinstate your account or at least tell you why it was banned in the first place.

By getting a second account under different details you will violating the TOS and Google would have an excuse to ban your account at any point.
