Incorrect again. Although I'd love to see your source that declares such.

    Here's mine:

Nope, that was pretty much it. I blame you for going off topic. Have a problem with that?

If you weren't so intellectually dishonest and didn't spend all your time supporting saddam and other terrorists, you'd spend some time proving those WMD that were found do not exist. As lazy as you are, I offered you $100 via paypal to do so, and you still haven't.

Or, stick to what you do best...giving words of encouragement to those who are anti-American. You are well qualified in that area.

No other Paypal Transaction ID's, Gtech? With all the free time everyone has, you'd think they could donate a dollar or two, right?

Here's one more for operation gratitude:
Transaction ID: 3P856092BA8364517 Placed on Jul. 8, 2007

252,000 packages to the troops, according to their site. Seems like most of the posters here are totally missing the point of this thread.

Thanks to our guys and gals over there. Some of us here appreciate your efforts.

That does not scare me :D I wish you were a bit easy on yourself, bud. ;)
The point was that they pulled themselves together and did the thing, and that contemporary american citizens wont do that. but rather create chaos and riots, and even join the party who is winning or offer more money, that is.
People had no freedom of the speech and visit foreign countries. That slogan was not made by Stalin, however.
I would suggest you to read some memoirs of the soldiers. They were not forced. They had the idea to free their country from the occupants.
Oh, they knew about that. I dont think they did not have their people all over the place, same was there. It's like a chess game. Besides, russians were the first to use rocket mines, so they were quite advanced, may be even more then USA, because of their need to improve arms.
And we bombed the cities just because we hated japanese that much plus we wanted to show that our balls were bigger then anybody else's. That you call the lesser evil? :D
Well, from your points of view, you would if you had more freedom ;)
    "Yakidy shmakidy." No sense.
Soviets NEVER liked Nazies, russian were fighting against germans just about 20 years before, during the WWI. Stalin (not russian citizens) made a choice to bond with them because it was another greater power raising in Europe. So, he decided to sign the peace treatment, plus it was an opportunity to get back the polish land which was part of imperial Russia once, that's why they divided Poland, like it was before. That's why Poland dont like Russia nowadays
Stalin-Hitler relationship reminds me the Bush-Saddam relationship a lot. They have all the similarities... Both dictators of some sort, both dirty on hands, etc...
I wish I was ignorant, so I could just sit on my couch and enjoy the latest Battle Galactica episode, and not worry about anything else...
Hmmm... I'm not refusing the fact that Americans died; and I did not said that, buddy. I cannot forget about them, because there were friends of my friends, and people I know. I just cannot forget it. Beside, there were also foreign people, not only american lives were taken.
Do you really understand my intentions? And you are right, I'm disgusted to call myself the contemporary American, because I cannot recall anything good we brought to this world, except maybe burgers and freedom fries. We just take, not give. Maybe we did just one good thing - we did not start the Nuclear War with Soviet Union, but managed to solve the problem in a diplomatic way - that's an achievement.
The golden age of America started and ended right after the Civil War. That was it. After that, we screwed the Constitution, etc.
I did not see any invaders.
Interesting, it mostly started to be mentioned only when Bush entered White House. I found it strange.
My burps are connected to the glass of water I just drank in a way, or maybe it's something else? Maybe my farts are connected to that water as well, that's the way I see it, and nobody else allowed to think differently, because I say so.
    *sigh*
And citizens want you to leave as well.

By the way, do you know that original term of the "terrorist" means to revolt against a political regime by scaring, but not involving human casualties, except the person who is the reason of such revolt. The definition came from Europe in 18 century. Terrorists of those times were a group of students who wanted to change monarchy into a democratic regime by trying to terrorize a monarch or a king to leave the power to the elected group of people. They never tried to kill civilians - it was against their philosophy (why would they do so if they are working on the freedom for those civilians). When they were accused for the attempt to murder, the lady who's wounded Alexander II, said that she is a terrorist, not a killer, and that her intention was to scare the emperor but not to kill. That's really noble.

Unfortunately, the Bush administration in particular, rewrote the history of the "terrorist" term to fit their own needs and now even the Wikipedia shows the Twin Tower and only Middle East islamic reasons for the so called terrorism.
Are we living under the tyranny? were we living under the tyranny before we invaded Iraq? I dont think so.

I've noticed that all the global terror threats are only aimed at the USA. What a coincidence. Even Britain is having mostly the attempts of it's own british citizens. So, USA and Britain, two allies in the Iraq invasion. That's really a global terror threat

How ironic. The US citizen ARE living in fear, but not because of AL-Qaeda, but because the government is keeping us in such state - we are scared of everything. Good examples: Y2K (US was hysterically buying up the supplies in the malls, because everybody though the end of world is imminent), '50s Radio show of War Of The Worlds (that was a huge panic inside US), etc.
US citizens are living in fear, and dont know anything better - uneducated, in debt, selfish.
You know, killing all the Talibans wont help us. We have much more work to do inside the USA.
Look at the Canada - they live longer, and they are not scared, have universal healthcare and free college, they have better education and stronger economy, and their government is doing the job it suppose to do (not like our). And dont tell me to move there, I'm sure we can reach the same level as they are at.
I've answered all the questions - I've skipped the trolls.

looks like tau is another self-loathing, blame America first youngster with a low self-esteem.

I'd contest most of your "claims," but you are not worth the effort.

Were you abused as a child? I find it not uncommon for those where were verbally abused as children to have low-self esteems when they get older. They tend to seek blame, not only for themselves, but on behalf of others. It's really a shame.

Beautiful. But I dont see anything about wmd there. Maybe USSR sold them a lot of AK-47, but nothing more.

However, the 1% of the US imported weapons were probably the mustard gas.

Maybe you would like to watch this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gDBxJwjARAc&mode=related&search=

The US Senate report, "United States Chemical and Biological Warfare-related Dual-use exports to Iraq and their possible impact on the Health Consequences of the Persian Gulf War", stated that prior to 1985 and afterwards, US companies had sent government-approved shipments of biological agents to Iraq. These included Bacillus anthracis, which produces anthrax, and Escherichia coli (E. coli). That Senate report concluded that: "The United States provided the Government of Iraq with 'dual use' licensed materials which assisted in the development of Iraqi chemical, biological and missile-systems programs, including ... chemical warfare agent production facility plant and technical drawings, chemical warfare filling equipment."

    Comments?

Yep, because I did not go offtopic. I just follow the flow of the conversation/debate.

As soon as the topic touches the critisism of the Iraq invasion and the bush administration, a label of "anti-american" is placed by ANY of the Republican on anybody. I've seen such before.
What if I say that you, GTech is Anti-American, say, because you a republican during a democratic president? How do you like it? Makes sense?
And what does it mean to be anti-american? Be critical to the government? So, if I criticize the current administration, I'm a terrorist? Kiss my arse.

So denial is the order of the day? It shows weapons. It doesn't distinguish between the two. What is the first word that represents WMD?

Thank you for confirming my point. You don't know for sure, but are still ready to dole out blame on behalf (supposedly) of your country? Yet below, you take offense with the term anti-American? I don't know any *real* American that sits around making up BS about his country, do you?

Step aside, pup, and I'll educate you:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iraq_and_weapons_of_mass_destruction
Now, after reading that, go back and compare to the chart I posted. Once again, who *probably* supplied Iraq with mustard gas? You need to get your facts straight.

Thanks for confirming the dual use. Robert Fisk? Just another oped story.

And I've seen those who claim such hide behind using "criticism" when in fact, they are simply making things up as they go along.

Say whatever you wish. When you start making up facts and assuming blame/guilt for "my" country, I will correct you.

This goes nowhere, I rest my case. I'm sick of mutual accusations.
As soon as there is criticism, the debate goes into a personal abuse and labeling. Pointless.
I better spend my time on working harder and making more money for my retirement, because with the debt we have now, no way I'll see my social security nor medicare when I retire, thanks to your struggle for your freedom of something.

Have fun with your soldier games.

Honestly, I don't see the point in debating over deep issues like this in a webmaster forum, as you're probably not going to change any minds, or make the world a better place...

And, in my personal opinion, nothing is ever as clear cut as "good vs. evil" (except for Hollywood productions)... Any parent knows, there's always two sides, and the truth usually lies somewhere in the middle...

    Logical Fallacy: ad hominem?

I think it's awesome what you guys are doing, donationwise... I don't donate to charities, I send care packages directly to my old unit, because I know who's there and what they need/like...

P.S. if you're ever sending a care package, please don't send:
    1) a deck of cards (all the card players already brought some)
    2) those "travel size" sticks of deodorant (they melt and mess up everything else in the box)
    3) a loofah (unless you're trying to get the person made fun of, haha)

    Please do send:
    Creme Saver Hard Candies
    God, I loved those things...

Last christmas during their big donation drive, I talked to operation gratitude and she said the troops love sunflower seeds. So she suggested I send over a bunch of bags of those. I did it from Amazon (about 20 cases, 144 bags of seeds/case) - it ended up taking about 3 weeks to get everything to operation gratitude. Took too long, so I just send over money now, when I have funds in my paypal account. They are nonprofit and run on volunteer efforts, so I feel pretty good knowing that the vast majority of the money I send over actually goes to packages to the soldiers. I'm not sure about the others, but operation gratitude seems first class.
