Hey everyone, do you think Cristiano Ronaldo is currently the best player in the world or he will be in the next 1,2 years?

I think it's about time people stopped underestimating Ronaldo.
Yeah I agree he dives around, but who doesnt - this is professional football.
So many people here are in the marketing biz, and they know well enough that sometimes you need to twist the truth. :D

I agree that it's gonna be between between Kaka, Rooney, Ronaldo and Messi.
I don't think there's every gonna be someone who is the best(except perhaps Zizou), it's just people's perspective, bias, and the player's charm(which CR7 lacks appallingly).

Just thought it was about time I got into an argument, :D

I think everyone is forgetting Nani and Tevez who are not far behind.

Crisitiano Ronaldo is great to watch but I think Kaka is the complete package. They are, however two different types of players. Kaka is much more suited to a role to score goals and drops deep, whereas Ronaldo relies in his skill and pace to go past defenders and still score goals.

But overall, the player who will be making giant strides in world football is going to be Robinho.

Cristiano Ronaldo is a great player. Probably the best soccer player Portugal has found after Figo. He is improving day by day. He's young, energetic.. will do more better once he gains more experience from time.

Robinho is a joke. He played on a B-team Brasil sent to Copa America, and when he got the ball 75% of the time he managed to do well. Anyone can with that many chances.

I like Ronaldinho as a dark horse to come back into form (drop a couple pounds!) and possibly do well with Eto'o and Henry there. That's a super potent front line.
