The term 'Islamist' seems to have crept into the media recently. I get the impression it means 'a muslim who follows the geopolitical commandments of the Koran/Hadiths' - e.g. one who actively works for world domination. I tend to prefer the term 'Caliphist' myself.

A 'Muslim' , on the other hand, is one who follows the guidence of the Prophet, as revealed in the Koran/Hadiths, but not necessarily the warlike/political bits. (But at the same time, would not RESIST those who DO follow those bits).

But that's probably just my perception.

islamist: one who follows islam as intended

muslim: one who doesn't follow the quran as intended, but typically says nothing in regards to islamists who do out of fear of being labled an apostate/infidel.

Muslim: One who believes in the quran (or the below)

Islamist: One who follows Islam exactly as it should be, including the political teachings of Islam, some might consider this to be a true muslim.

If you was truthful to yourself you would not post such nonsense.

I can't tell if your a muslim or a wannabe muslim, can you clarify?

I do feel sorry for wannabe muslims & muslims who have a bad day because some muslims fail to achieve their goals of blowing things up or have a great day because some do realize their dream only to be "bad mouthed" & people like GTech & I speak up about these terrorists regardless. It will distress some muslims & wannabe & obviously your one of them, as this is the only possible way you think muslims are hated by us.

However i do suggest you learn what an islamist & muslim are;)

I don't think there's a thing like an Islamist. I think its a Western Media creation to differentiate between an Arab that is friendly to the West and an Arab that is hostile to the West. Their religion is just a coincidence in the whole matter.

Yes, I know, I have Muslim family here in South Africa but the point is that they all call themselves Muslims and not Islamists.

No you suggested that all muslims are terrorists (not me) by claiming that i hate muslims, when in fact the only muslims i discuss or bad mouth are terrorists or intolerant idiots. So if you believe i hate muslims then you must believe all muslims are terrorists & that i'm bad mouthing muslims.

What most of you consider an islamist to be is what you hear from the same media that you claim everyone else is brainwashed by.

I care as much as you care about Jews. Having read some of your posts, I'd say the definition I gave was pretty accurate. I wonder what the magnificent 19 would say?
