Intelligent transfers, though they may not be the best- Abidal, Henry and Toure. Henry was a real bargain.

Add Gabriel Milito to that. Barca are really working hard to get a stable back 4.

Just, found this thread and subscribed =)

I think we(ManU) might not have made the best/most expensive transfers, but we sure have one of the best teams around now. Take a look(although you might already know).

    Rooney Saha

    Giggs Scholes Hargreaves Ronaldo

    Evra Vidic Ferdinand Neville

    Van der Saar

    Super Subs:

    Park
    Nani
    Anderson
    Carrick
    Rossi
    Solskjaer
    O'Shea
    Fletcher
    Brown
    Kuzschak
    Smith
    Heinze
    Richardson
    Pique
    Silvestre

We could just as well make a first team out of the bench too :D

Not to dampen United spirits. But with Eriksson and Thaksin, City are buying some quality players too !

Yeah he played for United for many years and now he is closing to most app. in Manchetser United.

Now we have two news. One is good and other is bad.

Bad news is that Smith is now moved to Newcastle United. and Good News is that Argentina striker Carlos Tevez should be free to finalise his move to Manchester United on Friday after West Ham agreed to release him from his contract, it was reported on Thursday.

I guess both news are 'good'. Smith never really made an impact, and it made business sense to let him go.

Well yes he didn't make an impact because of long injury time but he is more agrrasive player for Manu. Anyway forgot him and welcome Travez. He just trained at OT and will play his first match on 8th.:)

They have played well for previous clubs but who knows how they will do in the Premiershite

No team becomes unbeatable just like that. Getting eleven individually talented players will not make you the best team in the world. If you have eleven players who combine and understand each other very well, you'd do better than just having a bunch of superstars.

Talent is important- there is no doubt about that, but you must be able to adjust and be a team player....

What is the result yestarday's game when I left the match it was 1-1 in 83rd minute.

Secondly Mau U has a new younster in the team he is from Australia and he is just 9 years old. I read it in newspaper that the kid's grandfather send the DVD of the kid playing football and Man U pick that boy.....Look how lucky that guy is he is in the one of worlds best club at just the age of 9.

United won the game on penalties. EVDS saved all three he faced. And finally, Giggs scored at Wembley !

Well waht a cracker penalties which makes a good game for me. In first haf Manchester United showed that they are champions and played excellent. Defence was not good for chelsea yesterday and give more gap to provide passes.

Second half Chelsea make some good chance but fail to convert into goals.

But Edvin Van De Sar show why he is important part of Manu. He saved all 3 penalties and Manchester United convert all 3.

    Good start for Manchester United.

Waiting for Reading game when we will see new players in the action.

You do know that this new kid isn't actually a part of the first team right!
He is hardly going to help you achieve anything in the next 5 years.
He could turn out to be a load of crap and be rejected by United!
