The ruppe also has appreciated very much against the dollar. Their has been an nearly 10% appreciation of ruppe which is killing me
Yeah, basically the USD is just doing very badly at the moment and so almost all other currencies now have a stronger possition against it. Great if you are a buyer from the country but pants if you are a supplier.
Honestly I don't mind it going. I love buying sites for 300 - 400$ and ending up only being 200£, but when it comes to selling my sites, it sucks
I preferred it a few years ago when one of our dollars was worth about 67 cents. How in the hell did it get up to 96 from 2001?
I'm in the UK so charge in £'s.. I try, however, to buy in $'s It seems the most sensible solution to me. I remember when the £ was worth only $1-36 (yr2000 or so), was much better to earn $'s then, *sigh* how times change
What it did wa si switched to Euro i cant bear loss even Indian rupee is going up so i cant stay SO i raised chanced my currency partially
Try thet euro, its strengh is improving and therefore a good currency to use, many suppliers of mine have converted from USD to EUR due to that exact reason.
Switching currencies sounds ideal.. however do you think that'll effect clients from the US negatively?
Not sure how the conversions work.. However maybe look into epassporte.com You can get a Visa electron card with them and just withdraw the money from any ATM machine. Up to $500/day. I'm in the US, but I know for 100% certain that the card works just fine outside the US.
This is just for conversion via paypal the only way I can convert.. and I can't withdraw without changing my funds to CDN
How will using the euro be better for me? Say I got send $50 US, except in Euro and then converted it to the aussie dollar, wouldn't I get the same amount?
buy Emerging market assets, twin benefits are:- their currencies are strengthening and asset prices are increasing sharply whether it be stocks, bonds, real estate.........
All of my funds offline are in Canadian dollars.. which is getting stronger, so I don't mind keeping them as is. I was just worried about my USD funds online... (paypal) and 99.99% of my business transactions are completed with the USD
