To fix it, navigate to:
C:\Documents and Settings\yourusername\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows Live Contacts

Once there, delete your email folder. e.g.

That's quite evil I can see many people telling their friends (as a prank) to place it in their personal message. Never knew there was such a thing! Good info
