I have actually submitted and it does help a lot. My site had started getting indexed without www and www too hence to avoid supplementary I played with .htaccess. But then google started de-indexing all the pages.

I created a sitemap and submitted to google and within 3 days google came back and started indexing me the right way. :)

Agreed G knows about this market.

But i saw some one said beware when you use link:www.yousite.com you are looged out of your G account.

Also G has started a tool for reporting any site for paid links but i think this is rediculous practice:rolleyes:

Look lets be realistic about this G use the web everyday right, of course, they know all the parameters, but there is absolutely no point, in worrying or speculating

Its business as normal, G is such a minor component of the Directory Market the market is all about creating a business with or without any reference to G, so just concentrate on building your business and your traffic

Don't abuse G and they will not abuse you

yes we all know what is the paid links throry. But also this is ture that Google is also doing things to control paid links. So there is a kind of myth in the minds that strongly hits you mind again and again.:p

I will not provide sitemap xml file. It is wasting of my time. I don't see any use from this feature for now. May be in the future Google will increase PR for providing sitemap xml then I submit!

If you dont think it provides any results then why bother submitting to directories, buying links, or even owning a website? GO READ UP on what it provides

I don't see any reason why one should not submit his directory to G sitemap. It's such a useful tool that will give you insight of how G-boot sees you. I have corrected a lot of errors that I might not ever know otherwise.

Regarding all the fuss with google catching up on Paid Links. Well let me say it loud and clear. WE are not selling link. WE charge a small review fee.

Secondly, if G ever thought of doing any mess with directories and all that stuff, it will not matter if you submit a sitemap or not as G is a little more intelligent. (Sitemap does help but G used to crawl sites even before sitemap existed)

Thats it in a nutshell... If most webmasters would take 5 minutes to fully read whats going on then most off these questions wouldnt asked over and over again.

Yes i have half my stock thier and am experimenting to see if giving them 100% complete access is worthy of the results i get in PR :)

    thx
