    I hope it does good.
Bid directories are also not a bad way of earning for the dir owners, and also is a good way of getting backlink for the bidders.

So a +ve result in the PR update would be good.

But this my concern till last pr update their were few and far bidding directory.

Know every directory owns one bidding directory.

I think google will get nasty this time:(

Google says, or atleast matt cuts says, that directories that has a good review principles, or in other words don't accept just any site, are good directories!

in my bidding directory, have already rejected and refunded sites that don't meet our conditions!! i guess we should consider bid directories as any other quality directory! the only difference is in the way of sorting the listing, in bid directories, the sorting is based on bids! that's all:)

I like bidding directories too as I own one myself.

But I think normal web directories have a better potential to earn a living for the owners...

Also, I think bidding directories would be better if embedded into other websites, perhaps a blog or a forum.

I really don't think Google treats bidding directories different from other directories.

Directories are acceptable to Google and the case should be same for bidding directories.

IMO, demand for bidding directories will go up in the future.

Best thing about bidding directories, is that one can get homepage links on them.

This is not possible in conventional directories, unless you sponsor them.

yes, content is always good for directories! specially for the bidding directories as there are about 10 links on the home page with pretty less content!

i was planning to use blogging or articles on my bidding web directory, may be mixing wordpress with it is a good idea! my technical team says it is possible, so at till the end of this month, i will be having enough content options on the directory!!:D

I think they will never beat linkdirectories, in bid dir you can go easy to the last page of og the category, and in linkdirectory (most of them) you are just listed as first when you add link as first etc, do you do not lose your PR backlink.
But phplinkdire earns much more than linkdirs owners.
