    Sounds to me that it is just a one month price than it goes back to the regular Host gator price. I have to give it to you though, this is a good way to get around DP's rule of no affiliate links on post.

    I made a one-page website that said "Learn more about the great services of 1and1"
    it was full of affiliate links.
    hehe

    Until I learned that companies like 1and1 and hostgator stink.

    theres nothing to explain, just type in google hostgator coupons and there is a coupon for 1 penny for the first month. I'm in that month right now.

    Edit: Here i found the ones i used when i was first signing up and i got 1 cent first month:
