I'm kinda curious about this myself but do you really think that blogging professionally is really that profitable? Well, most bloggers, even those who incessantly work on monetization strategies, end up sitting around the few dollars a day mark and find it difficult to rise above this level. Looking at the on the surface cause for this predicament, the natural conclusion is lack of traffic. More traffic leads to more income - that’s a fact in nearly all cases. Look at this guy he claimed to make nearly $7000/monthly just by blogging? How could that possibly be? What do you think?
There are a good number of bloggers out there making a lot of money daily so, yes it can be done. It will not happen over night and takes hard work. *edit* UGH I just looked at that link you posted. Try using the advice of Problogger
Yes its possible, John Chow makes more than 7000/month. Just look at his lat income report for more details: http://www.johnchow.com/john-chow-dot-com-blog-income-report-june-2007/
I think anything is possible,If you have the desire. Alot of people start something and because they dont make money straight away they quit.if you keep trying you will make it.. A quitter never wins - and a winner never quits....
Yeah it, could be possible to make a reasonable amount of money by blogging. I have hurt of a guy, who makes $100+ per day with his 10 blogs, and it seems to be truth. You could make your traffic jump from blog to blog and even that way you can make some money.
Whenever we talk about something 'professional' it needs energies, time, and efforts. Same is the case for professional blogging. Rightly said by cormac, it'll not happen overnight.
You can make money blogging if you have something worth saying, people will listen. And BTW, nice to throw an affiliate link on that post; probably the only reason you started this thread anyhow.
I think you probably could make money doing blogging, at least I know I've read blogs for years now and have always checked out some of the products or ads if it interested me and even purchased stuff. I was just looking at John Chow dot Com site and he has a free e-book on making money with blogs: http://www.johnchow.com/make-money-online-recommended-money-makers/ Check out this free on instead of paying for those other ones. I'm sure he is making money since he refers to a lot of stuff, but at least its free to read.
Yeah looking at what those guys have been achieving make it look viable. But may be blogging professional is only viable to select few peoples not everyone. Perhaps! Well Makubwa, there is a blog mentoring program around, that probably helpful in making you the next John Chow, or Problogger. Thank for commenting guys.
I highly doubt that and why should anyone sign up for something to be the next JC or Problogger when them guys are already posting the tips on their own blog? Stop with the crappy affiliate links.
earning through blogging is a different thing, but plz tell us the link you have posted is affiliate link?
I too would chime in to say that if it is something that you want and have made the decision to figure out the best ways to earn money online then you too can have it. I suggest networking with the top bloggers and going where they go to get good information. Its not even a secret. They tell you where and when and how.
If you've got a decent blog, with some quality content, then it can be very profitable to make money with your blog. There are several new sites out there, such as paidperpost, sponsoredreviews, reviewme, the v7 contextual program, all of which that connect people that wish to purchase blog posts with those that would like to be paid to write them Osually blogposts/wesite reviews are around 200 words, and on average, you get paid about $10 per post (on a PR4 or PR5 blog) to write them. I write a 200 word post in about 10 minutes. I have 3 strong PR5 blogs and 2 strong PR4 blogs, and I accept about 4 or 5 jobs per day. It does take some time, as all of the content has to be completely unique, but if you enjoy writing, I'd say it's a decent second income.
there a lot of bloggers that does this full time - and make a good living on it - I want to be that full time blogger and work at home - but it can be done - some do it with several blogs while others do it with just one
