try some good link building with focusing on the anchor text and that wil surely give you a good rank within atleast two weeks.
    Good Luck! :)

Yes it takes longer than 6 months sometimes. For some it takes more than a year to get out if there is tough competition.

I can't believe that it is still in the sandbox..if it is, there may be many reasons, one of which, believe it or no, is your hosting.
Are you on a dedicated IP, or bunched in with a few hundred other sites on shared hosting?
I started a site 2 months ago, and I haven't seen the sandbox yet.
Predicted PR is 4 (If you believe in that) and my traffic is growing.
I find it hard to believe that i am just lucky.

There are a few things that you can do, most of which will cost a little money.
And some time invested in content.

He's right. Also there has to be a link building strategy to avoid the sandbox. Acquire too many backlinks quickly and you may land up in the sandbox. Acquire too little and you're into supplemental.

when you say is my site in the sandbox, it could apply only to some keywords and others not, many of my sites do not yet rank well for competitive terms, however, they do rank well sine the beggining for long tail keywords.
Sandbox is not an absolute concept that applies to the entire site, it only applies to keywords.

if your site is new, it's possible to be inside the sandbox.

there is nothink to do. you must only wait and continue to work for your site
