It is quite amazing to see people borrowing money here. I just can't believe they can't find 20 or 30 buck some where. I am always careful with my money so i can live without a job for a least a year.

so have you ever been broke and why?

For me, broke equals losing your house, starving etc.
So I have never been broke, but I could tell you stories about poor. From the past, thank God!

Nope, which amazes my how some people need like $20 to pay for something..I mean if you're asking for money, websites and all that might not be your strong point..

I'm broke right now! That's why I joined this site... in hopes that I would learn a lot about google ad sense and be able to use it to my advantage to earn some extra money.

I'm not sure why people try to ask for $20-$30 dollars.. they could easily get that by just spending a little time and working for it.. I think they're just being lazy.

Perhaps it's just one of their multiple streams of income. Borrowing (?) $20 won't buy much. After my divorce I was poor. Lived off credit cards for two years because the ex got so much in alimony and child support.

Broke, in debt, yes... homeless with nowhere to go, no.

BTW, it doesn't take much to totally screw you... business can slow down (or lose your job) just enough to push you into the red... a couple of unexpected medical expenses and you'd be surprised how your debt can grow.

As for asking for money on the forum... they're either just testing the waters or really need it so bad that there is nowhere else to turn. Hard to say.

We went through a bad patch and I suppose we were what you'd call broke. I grew vegetables in the garden and we had salad every night with half a tin of tuna. I didn't half lose some weight!
