ok i have made a celebrity gossip blog that contain funny stuffs and celebrity pictures. but I dont know much about driving traffic. someone please give a strong suggestion. I dont want to pay for now.
If you don't want to pay then SEO is your only option. Read up on it. And start promoting. Try writing an interesting article, interesting enough to get frontpaged on Digg, that'll get you some traffic and backlinks for the time being.

You should write press releases that create news about your celebrity gossip site. It is a powerful method to drive traffic and I think this method is perfect for your niche.

Sandy gave you the answer, but make sure you read the rules and learn how to write a PR, because your PR couldn't be accepted. It has to create news and it is better if you do not use I, you, we etc.

^As above. I got a celebrity related site. Social bookmarking is good in the sense it gets your traffic, but I would only really suggest it if you have something really interesting and hot. I average about 50 hits per day with a nice CTR of around 5%. Last week I did a few stumble exchanges and saw 500 visits that day, but not a single click. Using the method listed above, submitting to lipstick.com, got me 100 visits for just one post.
