Well, it will perform better if you put some ads above the fold.
More content will also help to generate traffic.

I like your ads colors :)

Make sure to write about each photo that will help it earn more money.

Is it possible to embed google map information in the blog?

Does google has any service like this? If so, we can make money by showing exact commercial places like hotels, cafes..

Thanks for the useful information. I will try this in my blog. :)

And, how about using Chitika Ads for my photo blog? Because, chithika ads allows me to select which product I like to show in my page..

for chikita & other affiliate revenue, the question is whether or not your site has traffic that is looking to buy products... so far, it doesn't appear to do that.

trichnosis hit the nail on the head... you can get ranked for image searches with that kind of data, but you must also have relevant page text for both the search engines and adsense.

if i were you, i'd be thinking about playing up the tourism angle in the page text.

If it were me, I'd say about 50/50 ratio of photo and writing. Perhaps a single small pic ad up top that displays something relevant to your site.

I just recently made a successful change in my Photo Gallery that applies to all photo publishing:

    1.
without words or text = NO relevancy of ads shown

    2. avoid the word photo and write about the subject of the photo
that will give you a wide range of keywords used in ads vs predominant photo-ralated ads.

my changes made resulted in approx 20% higher eCPM for the gallery.

    3.
since all your title metas tags seem to START with your Travel-O-Sphere - far TOO MANY ads will contain travel and hence your CTR may drop because too many similar travel ads will show up.

currently looking at your adsense-link-units ( there are NO ads shown as of now ) almost all pages show links about photo/pictures/travel

remove the "Travel-O-Sphere" and have each meta title tag start with the actual H1 title of your individual pages/articles

    4.
    select your titles carefully
even more important if you write little or nothing at all about the subject/object of your photos
it is even more important to select wording that are clear common and highly competitive keywords
hence words that are commonly known and used by our global marketing experts
avoid words that are only known in a small local area

    if doubtful
use your pre-chosing potential title and Google for results to see if on G search sponsored results appear and if large number of results ( millions better than hundred thousands ) appear to show that your term used is a commonly known term, hence to show that you have potential site-visitors OUT their in the www !!

    5.
    flower pics
    your yellow flower example (Allamanda)

it might be some extra time to research names of such beautiful flowers
but without a name your yellow flower has too much competition to attract visitors on your blog
by searching for common and or scientific names you actually make the photos available to those searching and loving exactly the kind of flowers you publish

if you don't know names - ask ppl then research the web until you have all details needed.

the same of course applies to all subject of photos published

if traffic is what you love
then you need to make each and every photo findable by giving correct common names to each photo and article posted.

    finally
your font-colors/bag color combination might be nice for photos - but is impossible for readers
experiences with such color combinations has shown that you rarely may expect more than 10% of possible maximum CTR/eCPM on such pages

Thanks hans, for such a wonderful information.

As you said, I chose the dark background to clearly emphasize my photos. But my eCPM is not at all moving upwards :(

I will try for some other color combinations for my photo blog.

BTW, I was checking your site wallpapers. Good collection dude.

Nauturally, phot blogs will have low CTR because people are there to searh for photos.

I checked your blog, it doesn't have much content on home page, how would you put Adsense here?

You have to develop content first.
