ok so here is my problem the shortest way i can describe:

    1. i have a forum full of topics people really want to see.
    2. each topic has a password
    3. in order to get the password the users must complete a task for me

my question is what task should i give them? WHICH WILL BE THE MOST PROFITABLE FOR ME
(i dont care if it is illegal the paying website will never figure it out)

    adsense,ypn are not available options.

one more thing i forgot to mention: the users will not do any task connected with paying money or giving credit card details.. but free sign-up under my name is defently an option

I can't believe this hasn't been mentioned yet - CPA!

Sign up to Maxbounty and the like and make them sign up to an offer, and in returnt hey get access to the content.

have each member smuggle something from Columbia... wink wink. ;)

Are you serious? You should know that what you are mentioning here is FRAUD! No, I'm not kidding.

You should take it very seriously because the companies you are planning to defraud will certainly look upon it as a very serious matter. You can get fined and go to jail for fraud in most countries.

And even if you're not worried about legal action, you will get caught, won't get paid and bad things always have a way of coming around to bite you in the ass.

    my 2c.

    @ itsme:
The most profitable of ways are legal.
Looking into an incentive CPA network would be the most profitable - offering around a dollar per US sign up.

Look, if you approach an affiliate network and say to them UP FRONT, "I want to drive incentivised traffic to one of your merchants..." and they agree to it, then OK!

But if you tell people to click ads, fill out lead forms, perform actions in general for which YOU will get paid by defrauding an advertiser... I don't agree.

This is the type of shit that makes it harder for the rest of us. Advertisers are paying good money to get leads and sales, not so people can try to screw them over for a quick buck... those advertisers will see that their money is being wasted and stop advertising.

My paycheck depends on those advertisers being happy, so no, I'm not top impressed by forum301's plan.

    You shouldn't be either.

If I had to actually "do" something to read something in a forum I would leave asap!

    Nice idea you have... :)
How about refer a friend, post elsewhere X amount of times on the forum or stumble/digg something. :)

CPA networks know what their conversion rates are, and if your numbers are off because people are doing zip submits or something and not converting to sales chances are you will be banned and not paid.

    Me to, in a heartbeat.

you must have real content that people are ready to do some work for you to just see a topic!
what i would suggest is to ask theme to digg/stumble/... stuff for you and these don't have to be you own articles, they are people who would pay to get in digg's first page!

Agreed - if I have to fill out such offers to read a FORUM I would leave in a heartbeat.
But if there's some information that I'd otherwise have to pay to view (I don't know, ebooks, certain links perhaps?) I'd most definetly fill out whatever needs to be filled out.

I don't understand you, or maybe you don't understand me - many CPA networks are nothing but incentive. Whats wrong with this type of incent, if they work for a certain goal?
