Al Gore caught high and speeding but...

The bad news for Al Gore is that his son Al Gore got caught speeding at 100 mph in a 65 mph zone with numerous small quantities of marijuana and prescription drugs, including Vicodin, Xanax, Valium and Soma. The good news is that Algore the third perpetrated the crime in the only media recognized hybrid.

It seems like daddy was too busy asking for the recount of the recount of the recount of the recount of the recount that he lost and then moved onto profiting from selling scary books without training up the third to stay out of trouble. If Al the second had supplied the boy with cigarettes from the family tobacco farm and gave him a nice muscle car, the kid would not have turned to whacky tobacky in Pry-us.

It was just a critique of how the former vice president spent his last 7 years.

Al is one of my least favorite people. What his son has or has not done does not affect my opinion of Al at all. Now if he was teaching a child rearing class that might be different.

The private lives of children should not reflect on the parent.

Children are a reflection of the parents. It's a combination of heredity and training.

My daughter was 10 when Al Gore Jr. lost in 2000 and she was getting tired of the Gore Lieberman ticket asking for recounts. She blurted out that she was tired of Sore Loserman. She came up with the term on her own and I thought "yeah, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree". :D

Well, do you know that Bush the Junior was booted from Uni, had several federal offenses and did also was not clean with his hands during his army service? Yet he managed to f*** up the whole country and the rest of the world, when he entered the white house.
    Who cares?

At least Gore is doing some good things by raising the awareness of Global Pollution, etc, while Bush is killing people...

W completed his MBA from Harvard and I think he had a DUI (legal substance). The army service was a story that got Dan Rather forced into retirement. Remember it was a memo with a font that didn't exist until many years later.

F' up the whole country? We have 4% unemployment even with 30 million illegals? Inflation is low, people are obese, and terror attacks in this country have stopped. Are you a youngster that is afraid he might be pressed into patriotic duty?

Here's a few that happened before the current administration:

1993 - World Trade Center bombing number 1.
    1995 & 1996 - Attacks on U.S. posts in Saudi Arabia
1998 - Two embassies bombed in Kenya and Tanzania
2000 - USS Cole was attacked

I guess you're right: Jenna Bush was charged twice for alcohol-related crimes, once for trying to get fake ID to buy booze. Her daddy and her mommy have had plenty of trouble with the law over drinking problems.

Personally I don't like linking the problems of children to the problems that their parents had but in this case, if tbarr is going to use a brush to paint the candidate of one political party, he might as well have all the facts to paint Dubya with the same brush he's using on Al Gore.

Here's what's happened during the current administration:

2001: Pentagon and WTC attacked; anthrax mail scare
2001-2007: attacks on U.S. posts in Iraq, Afghanistan

Why stop yourself short of when Clinton left office and Bush the second took over? Are you bias against the democrats and not republicans, or did you forget about that thing that happened on 9/11/01?

More of the blame for 9/11 should fall on who was handling things from the time of the first WTC attack for 7 years not on the administration that had been in place for less than 8 months at the time of the attack. The things that happened over in the war zone is cost of stopping terror regimes and it's done by volunteers.

I tend to counterbalance so since the media is biased I would tend to try to balance that out.

100mph is nothing for car this big with passive and active security....now driving a 10 years old unmaintained car with original brakes can be dangerous ....

In spite of your claim of your daughter coming up with that term, she did not. Sorry to burst your bubble. I guess a lesson is honesty and plagiarism is needed in your house - don't want your kid being a poor reflection on you. (I am just teasing you! - don't get all upset or anything)

Sore Loserman was a popular phrase created by members of the forum FreeRepublic.com. It was massively used, in signs, website, and on the Internet at that time.
