    What would you pay for good shared hosting, with:

    * Space - 5GB
    * Bandwidth - 250GB
    * FTP Accounts - Unmetered
    * Email Accounts - Unmetered
    * MySQL Databases- Unmetered
    * Subdomains - Unmetered
    * Addon domains - unmetered
    * parked domains - unmetered
    * Fantastico latest Version
    * cPanel 11
    * RV Skins
    * 99.9% Uptime

    OR

    * Space - 1GB
    * Bandwidth - 50GB
    * FTP Accounts - Unmetered
    * Email Accounts - Unmetered
    * MySQL Databases- Unmetered
    * Subdomains - Unmetered
    * Addon domains - unmetered
    * parked domains - unmetered
    * Fantastico latest Version
    * cPanel 11
    * RV Skins
    * 99.9% Uptime

    I am just curious, because I'm maybe gonna buy a reseller.
    For the first plan, I could host 2 people, and they would have to pay a MINIMUM of $1.25 / month, which is CHEAP.
    For the other plan, I could host 10 people, and they have to pay a MINIMUM of $0.25 / month, which is VERY CHEAP.

    I'd like to hear your opinion on this.

    I think this should be in the reviews but I would pay for the first one maybe 15$-20$ because of 250 GB bandwidth.

    For the second one probably 6.95$-8.95$

    I am paying 10 usd per month for a similar hosting plan with the first one and five-six usd /month would suit the second one.

    OK...

    so, say, if I priced the first one $5-8/month and the second one $1-3/month. With 99.9% uptime. Would you choose mine? Or others?

    Hosting market is hard and trust is important for serious users , for example my hosting firm is older than five years , I would go with it.Price is not the priority for me while selecting.

    Sure, there are always people who are wanting to get the most for as little as possible. But lets take a broader look at things... 95%+ of websites fail miserably. The ones that are successful probably have a competent person behind it that has made the right moves and right investments. I would imagine someone wanting to the cheapest hosting package available probably has an equally low marketing budget. Thus, chances of failure increase.

    If you are not targetting quality customers, you will have a huge turnover rate and feel that you are spinning your wheels with customers cancelling their service after 1 month. Quality customers with successful businesses will be much more likely to send you additional quality customers. It will be harder to gain their trust, but in the end it will pay off much more. Price isn't as big of a factor to them as compared to the importance of reliability and support.

    I would check the companies track record, some companies offer cheap hosting and then don't bother to reply to emails

    Yes although I have 2 shared hosting accounts , I also have 2 accounts for my business sites on different hosts and today I bought a new reseller account for my main business site (it is pure html no database driven simple site).
    I searched for a local hosting company and my friend advised one and I choose it I nearly pay twice my shared accounts because I want no downtime my business is earning me and paying more is not matter.
