nothing can compete with northpointaki's; but I was hit in the head with a jetski when I was 15 or 16. Got some stitches, can't remember how many. But it was a gusher of blood, that's for sure!

I once was in Pakistan and saw a Truck taking a turn on a mountain side twist. It was too much of a wide turn and it fell straight off the mountain. I was probably in 7th grade at the time, a huge cloud of dust arose. We went to go help the survivors, they were bleeding tremendously. It was a very excruciating moment.

Well up until now, I was pretty lucky!
I stepped on a nail once. They had to cut my foot open a little bit to get out some pieces of my shoe! No stitches, but I had to use crutches for a week or so.
I had a bad car accident once, the car rolled 3 times down a hill, but all I had was some bruised ribs. (Yes I had my seatbelt on!)
I was in a snowmobiling accident once, ended up with a small break in my ankle. Only had to be in a cast for 10 days.

But then my luck ended. I was hit in the face with a softball about 3 weeks ago. Broke my cheekbone and had to have it surgically repaired. More details here if you are interested.

Once I got my clavicle bone fractured in motorcycle accident. It was in February 2006. I was doing one wheeling stunt but couldn't control the motorcycle. It took about 4 months to be back on normal.

Well, when I was in my native place called Goa, India, and my house repair work was going on, at that time suddenly one of the house tile fell on my leg. It was bleeding and within few minutes it was swollen up. I was in real bad pain the whole day. With medication the paid subsided but the entire pain went away only after two months.I can never forget this incident.

I broke my left arm mountain biking when I came off a blind exit on a trail and ran into the back tire of another biker (my friend). I flipped over the handle bars. Both of the bones in my left forearm were shattered and it was a compound fracture so I had bone sticking out the skin of my arm through a hole about the size of a quarter.

I had a full arm cast on for six months, then a short arm cast for three months. I had to have the cast on for that long because there was nothing they could do with my arm bones but point them at each other and hope they would grow towards each other and reconnect.

I also broke my right arm twice skateboarding, but that was nothing after that first break.
