i join adsense and put the ads on my blogspot blog (my sig) but i keep getting irrelevant ads. i already used section targeting given by google help center but irrelevant ads keep showing. how do i put the script: <!-- google_ad_section_start --> <!-- google_ad_section_end --> on my blogspot template so i can get relevant ads? thanks.
it almost requires 3 to 4 weeks to get relevant ad's so be patient or ask google to choose right content for you.
I can see very relevant ads in the post page, but homepage ads are not so relevant. Also as Ameyjah said, it take time to display relevant ads. One more reason for irrelevant ads on home page may be that the content keeps changing frequently. One more thing, I thing the referral unite ( firefox, adsense and adwords) are google adsense units. In that case you are displaying more than 3 ad units on your home page. I think thats against TOS of adsense. Plz check that.
i only display 2 ad units so it's okay with TOS. if i should wait 3-4 weeks, does it mean i shouldn't post until i got relevant ads?
you mean that referral ad units are not of google adsense?? Also check your post pages, they are displaying relevant ads. Also you can use Google adsense preview tool to check which type of ads will be displayed on you blog in different part of the world.
