What application do you use to store all your passwords? Or do you use a piece of paper? I use SplashID (on my PC and PDA) - but I wish I has something that would sync to my usb drive too.
You must have a lot of spare cells I have about 400 entries in my password db. I use FF at home, but I like to carry my passwords with me incase I need to do something at a friends house or something.
Its very astonishing that you don't use your three pound brain for saving your passwords and user names .. I use my brain.
"I have about 400 entries in my password db." I consider myself pretty sharp. But not that sharp. How many logins/passwords can you remember?
Paper is best. That too in a shortened manner. If the password is "bucket", I would just write "bkt" on paper. (My actually passwords are more complicated). To be on safe side, I have two copies. .
I use a simple text file and backup regularly. The most important passwords (around 20) are of course inside my skull.
hello guys well, i am happy to see this post, I had hard time storing my passwords. I just simply stored them in excel. Its easy and simple Thanks
Never save password with firefox, click on tools - options - security - and show password, anyone can see all your password
No offense but thats dumb as hell lmfao. Anyways, I have a special code for making my passwords, it depends on the URL, so that I never forget my passwords IT
This can be dangerous. If your one password gets cracked, others may be at risk too. I make passwords at random.
Nahhhh you are not getting it dude. For example (this is not my code btw) if I have to make a password for Digitalpoint, then it might be idiglaopnit (changing places every two letters) IT
Its not that hard remembering them as long as i use them regularly. My FF remembers my passwords for me as well, just to save time.
That's what I am saying. If someone knows that you made one password by rotating letters, he will go and try to access your accounts on other sites or maybe try access your sites' admin/cpanel by rotating sites' name in similar manner.
Roboform! reminds me of the 'top 10 most common passwords' thread http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=99439
