I am confused. I agree, that DP in doing the same thing, but the TOS still says that it is not allowed to change the code. Removing or adding something to the code must be a change. Right? Maybe DP has a special agreement with google? I am not sure.

absolutely....and this surely means all of you who gave your pub ID to dp are already breaking google's TOS :D so what difference are you making again leaving your pub ID blank? and i wonder how many of you've got banned using DP's rev sharing?

    bravo....u r a genious leet!

This is a good idea, but if you have a small website that diesnt make much money google will probably ban you.
DigitalPoint will probably get away with it though

But is the payoff better than normal? What I mean is that you aren't getting paid for a few days. So does the payoff recover the price? Let's say you remove the id for 2 days, then put it back up for 2. The clicks would have to be worth over double for it to even be worth it.

Additionally even if it is legal, google bans accounts with suspicious load activity. So if it registers 0 impressions on your account, then jumps up to 20000 when you put the id back, you will likely get your account banned after a while.

From my experiences it recovers and even earns you more.

Google crew is not stupid. They wouldn't just ban you because of that. Then you can get banned if you decide remove the ads also and put them after a while?

Changing the Pub ID of Google Adsense code is not against their TOS. Leaving it blank may be a different story, but am not 100% sure about that so it's up to you guy's what you do.

Leet if you answered this sorry i missed it... I can turn my ads off on my forums with one click of my mouse... so what if I turned them off and then turned them back on again... wouldn't that have the same effect? How long would you have to turn them off?

This is not the same thing. When you leave pub id blank, Google will be off to show high paying ads on your site for NO cost for themselves. This is the catch.
