I need someone that knows oscommerce from the in and out, on custom designs installing it, and how you usually price clients basically I need some consulting which I'm a programmer, but new to oscommmerce I want to get someone to shoe me what modules i need to be aware of for clients and any other issues that could show up with it.

I'm willing to pay for consulting fees I want it on the phone though.

First of all use Zen Cart. osCommerce is nice, but I find that Zen Cart is nicer. osCommerce has a very slow developement cycle. The plugins are a pain in the arse as well.

They have some nice faqs and tutorials on their website as well.

I heard zen cart was a good one, but I just much rather use oscommerce I'm also going to have to create custom designs for it to, but I can't seem to find any one that is pretty knowledgeable with it, and I'm trying to figure out when making custom designs for it if there is a certain way the images have to be sliced, or if I can just drop certain blocks of codes into the page, and just integrate the design anyways, if you understand what I'm saying?

I just replied to your PM.

For basic installation services, check out http://InstallOSC.com

For customization, we can speak about that on a case-by-case basis.

I've used osCommerce and Zen Cart extensively and I agree with this 100% - osCommerce is basically Zen Cart with a few less bells and whistles.

I think, although I may well be wrong, Zen Cart was built on the osCommerce engine, improved upon, and given a lot more attention.

The front-end looks nicer too :)
