How to generate Sitemap for blogger

Hii all,
where and how do i generate a sitemap for Blog(http://mountaineering-tips.blogspot.com). Last time my fren tried but he didn't know where to put the code on blogger, hoep you guys will help me, thank you

 

for blogger i just use the atom.xml file they provide... should be at

http://mountaineering-tips.blogspot.com/atom.xml

 

you can also use gsitecrawler . it's good software to create sitemap and urllist.txt

DotR is right !!!!, the only way for a blogspot blog to have a sitemap is through the atom or rss feed xml !!!
As long as the blog is not self-hosted, we cannot use our own sitemaps file !

 

I downloaded gsitecrawler but eventually for my blog (blogspot ) I used atom feed xml.

hey i thinks only way is using RSS feed. but only submitting feed won't help, you can try my guide on how to create a proper google sitemap for blogger and submit it.

Is it possible to use Google Sitemap for blogger? How will you verify the account? I mean, you don't have FTP account. Should we use the meta tag?

i don't think u will need sitemap for your blog

 

since your blog is at blogspot, you may not need to do this for google..

 

i think v dont need any sitemap for blogspot as its hosted by GOOGLE.

For those who want to upload a sitemap to Google Webmaster for better indexing of your blogger sites, you can Add General Web SiteMap in the GW Tools under Sitemaps - Add Sitemap.

Then just enter http://-----blogspot.com/rss.xml

rss.xml is what you need to fill in.

It should collect all the URLs in that feed.

 

I am using Site Map Builder. Very useful. But I don't think a Blogger blog needs sitemap file for SEO. Google usually will index your new posts much quicker than other normal sites.
