When you use the tools such as Overture's, and Wordtracker, How do you know if a keyword is perfect? -For Overture Keyword tool I can find popular keywords, but it doesn't tell me how competitive they are. -For wordtracker, I can get highly uncompetitive keywords, but they aren't searched for that much either. Some my question is, If you use wordtracker and you get a highly uncompetitive keyword for about 2-3 visits a day, but it has like 800 KEI...is that the best you can do?
Overture keywords tool seems not updated till date as I have searched few keywords and it is still giving me results of Jan 2007 and there are also many spelling mistake and repeatation of words are there. Use adword tools or any other tools.
I personally use https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal Overture I've had very little success with when pursuing keywords it claimed to get over 1000 searches per month. Most of the keywords my site comes up for has no data in Overture at all, now how do you like that?
it's perfect when all of the traffic on the Internet goes to your website! No such thing as perfect. Try to get a few "broad" keywords for your niche and then work on longtail.
