How to gain REPUTATION?

just my thought,
why do you need to worry about rep, if you know to yourself that you are helping people in your own little way. Though, green is a good sign that you have helped, but not enough to trust, there are lots of members banned with lots of rep (don't know why banned), there are also others who have capitalizing the green to scam people. Help people then green will just follow. What is the use of green if are banned asking for it?

 

That, in my estimate, is the bottom line. People are grateful to those who are genuinely helpful.

I know it can be frustrating not getting any reps when you answer questions and help people out. I've answered lots of questions in threads and people replied to say thanks but don't leave a rep. It's not that big a deal but if it were as easy as just helping a member out then there would be a lot more green blobs seen.

My advice is this: it's not the size of your rep bar that matters, it's how you use it that counts...if you get my drift.

 

The key is to help people out like me:

LOL that's a good one, but you also must know that if you don't have a big rep bar, you want one....lol if you get my drift.

 

I can think of something else people would want to be really big if they have a really small one...

Take the energy you would put towards chasing rep and put it towards your web site/business. vB forum rep is internet fools gold.

 

reps, iTraders etc. are a whole load of crap .... false security ....
