When i searched i saw in many pages that we should choose

    A good domain name which

    1 ~ is relatively short
(now a days can we find? a short domain name)

    2 ~ is memorable

(if users cant find what they require is this useful)

    3 ~ isn't easily confused with others
( now a days everyone bookmark sites)

4 ~ is hard to misspell
( now a days everyone bookmark sites)

5 ~ relates to your business name or core business.

6 ~ sounds solid to your target audience

My question is weather a good domain name is that useful ??

Directory words are worth just cause they are directory words. Add all the above qualities and yes you hit a jackpot.
Web 2.0 has given rise to a notion that domain names don't matter. Not really, if they registered a typo domain name, then millions were spent on app development.
Yes, I believe a good domain name absolutely helps.

Yes you can. You might just have to pay a little more than reg fee for it.

If you ever want to sell the name on it is.

No they don't. On the right names, typo and typein traffic is huge.

erm, considering how much the premium names are selling for, I think a lot of people would say yes:

There are many many different methods for domain valuation. Don't rely on any single one. One man's junk is another's treasure.

All are things that thousands of businesses and webmasters have been looking for for 10 years.
That is the description of every search, and WTB thread, however, very few have accepted the fact that they are all gone, and the ones that get it, do not hesitate to buy them up.

A good domain is very, very helpful. Type in traffic, SE rankings to name a couple of reasons.

As long as the internet exists, domain names will always continue to be in demand..

Don't get into the domain thingy too much.
Just get a decent unregistered one(spend maybe 20-30 mins on godaddy and domainsbot.com)

Register one and start building your site. Good content will always bring in traffic.

All the best with you new endeavor :)
