It could use a header of sorts or at least a logo. It is a little flat in your color scheme too.

The thing I disliked about the forum is that pesky floater tha says you haven't registered yet. Please register or whatever. That will drive out more traffic then what you may realize.

All in all though, I'd say you have a great start on a good forum. ;)

Interesting, people dont like the layout and color scheme. I kind of liked it amongst the styles I found. And logo is a definite I agree.

    Thank you all.

You have great content posted in the 'Heroes' section - too bad you dont have anyone joining your forum. Maybe try hitting up the NBC forum and luring some fans over - you do have some great content that might help get transfers.

thank you. It's been very hard to get members. Luring people often gets me banned. Starting a forum seems to be really hard work.

The first thing this forum needs is a header area with either a header graphic or customized logo, it'll help people remember your forum..

The forum needs a nice logo and maybe you could try adding some different colors to it :)

If it will help, I found that contests work fairly well to get people to post and frequent forums....especially cash prizes or some good benefit like ads or something like that.

For instance, before I sold my forum I use to give out small amounts of cash and make it competeative by nature. Like saying whoever posts the most useable comments that are relavent to the forum will receive $XX. Sometimes more and sometimes XXX depending on my cash flow.

Yes, it is hard, but it can be done too.

Skin is OKAY, the new/old post icons are a bit too simple but I guess they are suitable.

And you definitely need a logo. As for the domain name, it's easy to remember, but a bit weird lol.

The floating "unregistered" banner is annoying. At least if I click the X maybe set a cookie so I don't see it again.

And like everyone has said, logo/banner is a must.

Probably should add the vb arcade or whatever--keeps some people entertained for hours :p

And why don't you have Arrested Development, the best TV show ever, on your site!? :p

And I agree that there are a lot of forums...when starting a forum, I go for the "small number of forums now" and add more later when there are a lot more members...

Other than that, it looks alright, just needs more members (as all forums do--very hard to start up!).

Also in "Theres nothing like reality." it should be "There's"...sorry, those kind of things just bugs me. Same with the floating register thing..."It" shows you are unregistered. Sounds kinda off to me. But those are just minor things.

Good luck with your forum and hope you get lots of members and it grows :)

I found the "too many forums" to be a little awkward. Once you get into organizing trouble of your forums, then you can expand. at the moment, there is too much vertical scrolling without having many posts and that makes it a little uneasy for me to stick there longer. Remember, why there are so many paid posters here and there?...Its just to keep the space crowded. Just my 2 yen.

Nice forum :). Have to agree with John that you may have too many vertical scrolling. And yes, more member are needed.

    All the best!

Hmm, I've been trying to think of how you could reduce the number of forums. Maybe you could start out with say, a few categorized forums, like "Reality TV", "Comedy/Sitcoms", "Crime", "Drama", "Cartoons", or whatever, and then you can start to dedicate forums to certain shows that you see are getting a lot of posts.

Clicking on a forum and getting a "There are no new posts" message (like say the "Family Guy" forum), makes me think that there's noone that's interested in Family Guy and I won't post. But if there's a more generalized board, I would be more likely to post a Family Guy topic since I see that there are active users, and I know that people will at least see my thread and read it.

Some shows have a lot more to talk about than others (for example you can have a lot to say/speculate about "Lost"!), so a forum for each show might be a bit overkill at least at the start.

Just some additional comments to add to my post above!
