How long before image ads are approved?

I submitted my image ads for a site-targeted campaign on Saturday and I still have no impressions!

The CPM bidding tool said I have an "Excellent" chance my ads will appear, and I've confirmed that hte sites run the ad sizes that my images are. What's taking so long? This is really frustrating, as my campaign is only relevant up through this coming Saturday...

CPM campaigns go through manual review and can easlity take 24 - 72+ hours to get approved and start running.

Sometimes contacting support can speed things up.

Image ads always take longer than text ads to be approved. 2 or 3 days, typically I'd say from my experience. If it's taking too long it sometimes helps just to e-mail and ask if there's a problem - it just makes someone look at it a bit quicker, I think.

I must admit this is one thing I hate about Adwords.... OK the approval thing is a good idea, yes... but 24-72 hours is a joke.... there a massive company... surely they have staff around the clock processing these sorts of requests.

Especially with the prices you pay.

My 2c... not that it's worth much! hehe

    Srsly!

72 hours? That's crazy. If I learn that they don't have people checking during the weekend (as in, when I submitted the ad) I will be really disappointed.

Update: no ads were displayed yet at all. And as today's the 4th of july I suspect no one will be examining them today either. :(

It takes a while...did the 72 hour wait period pass already?

I must say that some sites showed no impressions even after two weeks...odd... :)

An ad on hold is not making money for you OR them.
