My site is about 2 months old. http://www.whois-barack-obama.com.

    - When i look up the PR for it, i get the message "No PR info available". So i'm not even a 0/10 on google.
    - For certain keywords, i am on page 1 in google.

This is what I have done so far:

    - Submitted articles to a number of sites
    - Gone to forums and posted my link
    - Submitted my link to a number of directories
    - Used Meta Tags
    - Used <H1> headers on each page of my site
    - Used appropriate keywords multiple times on each page

Why don't I have a page ranking? What more can I do to help my case?

ha, i wish. i did a search with Barack as a keyword and found sites with a PR5-7 ranking. I know i have to work at getting my ranking higher, and thats fine by me. but right now i am not even a 0. there is just NO INFORMATION available and its really frustrating because i've done everything possible to get a PR.

Hi there, i see that at the last backlink export google didn't update your backlink. I don't want to make you sad but i'm not sure that you will be able to see exported toolbar value at the forthcoming PageRank update. I checked your links at the Yahoo! Site Explorer and i saw 29. Maybe it won't be enough to make you happy. I suggest you to set your prefered domain at google's webmaster central and go for backlinks.

If you are a registered member all you have to do is to select the URL of your site at the mainpage. After clicking on that you will see the Preferred domain option on the left sidebar. i suggest you to select the www- version with the radio button since i saw more backlinks concerning that subdomain.

ok thanks. the thing is that the www- is now gone. i was sloppy in not putting a title to the page and now it is replaced, but that still shows. anyways, i'll go back and change things in webmaster. hopefully things will change. thanks for your help.

PR is only officially updated every 3-4 months. The last update was late April, so you did not make it for that update. The next one, if you did everything right should show some PR for your site. The update should be Late July to early August.

Because the domain is so young, it missed the last update. Continue building links, and you'll see your efforts pay rich dividends at the next update..........

You will get some PR on the next PR update which is expected sometime in September.
Don't worry and just continue your work ;)

i think google will give you a toolbar pr on next update. google toolbar does not shows real time pr. they update it 4 times in a year. just wait and continue to build backlinks

First of all the PR shown in the google toolbar isn’t the live PR, secondly PR is just one of the factors which influences your ranking in google.
