Thread shoutbox?

I don't have access to my site via ftp right now. Does anyone know if there's a way to put a shoutbox in just a thread?
Is it possible? If so, how do I about doing this?

maybe you could do it with an iframe? If you can do that in a thread...

Though it has a few things to be desired...

They do allow ShoutBox to be on a single forum (or at least there is a hack/mod for it) but I believe that's about as limited as they allow.

 

I need access to ftp and/or ACP, right?

 

Oh yeah, maybe I guess... I see 'no access to FTP' and completely ignore it. I upload via cPanel.

Without a way to upload it I'm unsure if it'll ever be possible to do such a tweak.
