What software (if any) are you guys using for a SEO in general?

Let me start first...

WebCEO

I'm pretty new to SEO in general, so I just bought that software because they teach you about SEO, they have some sort of university over there, so that was one of my main reason why I purchased it.

and i also was looking at WebPosition by WebTrends

WebTrends is a very well known name, a friend of mine just used up his trial, and he said he was able to archive some result just by using this software, for short period of time... (which is impressive for me), so I consider getting it too

I use it too. But the reason is different: I like the customized reports of it and how easy it is too share them with the clients. It is convenient that I can schedule the time when reports should be send and that I can use report viewer.

How did your friend manage to get WebTrends trial? I wrote to them for 5 times and never heard back

 

he got WebPosition not WebTrends, if you want i can send you link, however if you refer to WebTrends i did had hard time looking for trial myself, and i finally got it from WebTrends staff, how to download trial, so i can probably look somewhere i might have it somewhere...

 

also as regards to WebCEO, I do have some coupons, so you can get it cheaper...

I use only some custom made software to automate part of the DB creation, site creation etc. procedure.

 

I use IBP and have used webceo. I think IBP is better.

do you mind telling us what exactly do you think is better? or which features do you like the most?

I use WebCEO and like it the best of the big three (WebCEO, IBP and WebPosition). I have used all three in trial versions and really ended up liking WebCEO the best. The updates seem better and the features and client reports a little more rich and flexible.

Also, another tool that I cannot live without is SEO Spyglass. The way it can check out your (or your competition's) backlinks and allow you to figure out which ones are the most valuable is invaluable. I believe they offer a free version that you should check out.

 

I'm using only IBP so i cant give anymore comment. I was looking for WebCEO but cant find it so i end up bought IBP.
