Not main job, just a little hobby.... main jobs are Data Analyst and part time Martial Arts instructor.. i compete in BJJ (Brazilian Jiujitsu) frequently, that take a lot of my time training after work so i only have about 2 hours a day on directories.

Nope...not a full-timer. After all the "finacials" were worked out for tax year 2006, I was in the black by about .12 cents. I put everything back into my directory leaving me with just enough for a package of cheap ramen noodles:) That said, the money is definitely there...just not enough to justify not reinvesting.

I have around 30 dirs. But this is not my main job.

I need to get custom design for all of them. And do some more promotion.

my comment is not for you choice. I never read on first page that you run directory as a hobby too, I thought you run it full time by the way you promoting it.

My comment is to those QBC that run is just for fun or just because they see it an easy way to make money.

Full time. I'm a real latecomer to directories but I'm also a quick learner! I run my own web consultancy, Craythorn Communications, and also work with a business partner supplying internet solutions to the meetings industry.

Net result? Not enough hours in the day. Watched the Simpsons Send in the Clones episode the other day and realised that's exactly what I need!
