Chris saw his thread and showed me a link, obvious he removed all the links after chris and I posted asking him to place the links back or remove/change the template he agreed but been too long since then with PM's to owner and no replies he was on earlier today so I am 99% sure he read the PM.

I propose a new Ordinance, Let's all NOFOLLOW the QBC's even when they submit paid submissions.

Who has the balls for this?

Because let me tell you, the submitters do NOT run my directory, I DO!

As the sponsor for several of the template used, this is very discouraging, especially since it was already brought to his attention, and he apparently refuses to take the appropriate action to correct the terms of usage violations.

I don't think this is a good idea, I'd just reject and refund the submission. I can see where Rob's coming from, but if we are camped out as the quality directory owners we should maintain our editorial integrity and not resort to hidden tricks.

The waters will get muddied and the QBC's will have ammunition they can use to discredit our integrity. I think the 'name and shame' QBC blog and directory, and the List of Recommended Directory Owners, are the way to go.

Oh, but it will be fun fun fun.

Besides, we all have guidelines right? We all state we can do whatever and whenever right?

hahaha ammunition? they've got nothing. it's basic cause and affect in play here.

Time to walk a mile in my shoes :evil grin:

You could write in your TOS

    anyone submitting a :
dropped domain with PR directory/word cloud
    directory using a ripped design
    directory thats removed sponsor links
    directory thats full of spam

gets a rel=nofollow link placed and no refund.

the QBC noobs obviously wont read the TOS and can't get a refund :D

neither do i, because i only submit to directories where

    the onwer was trusted
    the directory is quality
someone like yourself, rob, chris etc already has a listing there (because if its good enough for the pros it'll do for me :))
