Can't install PHPLD.

    Hi,

    so i want my own directory, but i cant install it, im going to start off with the free verion and then work up to the paid.

    Any how,

    I get to stage two of install it asks me for the data base info, and data base serveer!?! it asks me for a host name, i Input my host name and it still doesnt instll gives me errors?

    any one can hlep me?

    you should create a db and a username for that db in your cpanel. the hostname is usually just "localhost"

    hehe i could have told you that :D host is usually localhost or yourdomain.com

    dont forget if using cpanel you always need "yourusename_datbasename" when doing the database name or username....

    Templates generally come with instructions.

    Just overwrite the template files (via FTP) that come standard with the template files you want to use.

    It all depends on directory version itself.

    Download any from http://www.forums.sbclansite.com/index.php?board=14.0 , they come with readmefile, read it and if still have issues get back to us.

    Ive installed a tmeplate. and made a banner.

    but on my banner, i still get the text on there, how do i stop this? where do iedit?
