You can add it to directories and freebie sites also.

Submit site to social bookmark sites and use some pay per click asdvertising.

The best you can do is to get your site searchable on image hosting keywords. There are many free image hosting providers however. tough competition.

You could even make a profile for your business on myspace and other websites your are trying to target and when your not busy add a few friends here and there, I have found that it has helped me get a few hits a day as one of my websites has a big myspace profile and has other major artists linking to it so it brings me a few thousand hits a day

    Good thoughts, yogesh.

When there are so many image hosting services I think your best bet is to either affiliating with someone websites. So in exchange for bandwidth, you get endorsement on their website. I suppose hobby sites and the likes would be interested.

OR you could nichify your image hosting website. Make it image hosting for world of warcraft fans.. or imagehosting for internet marketers. Anything where you can add value. You could add value by including a little bar below with some stats or whatever.

Also you should target many message boards as they need a place to upload their images, you would be amazed how much traffic you can get from posting on message boards, or even contact a message board and ask them if they could post a link in their reply or post topic boxes to your website that opens in a outside link in a new window so that their users can easily upload images to place on the board.

There is no set rule to generating traffic, the best way to go about it is checking some of the links these guys have posted and leave it down to trial and error. Obviously things that work for others may not work for you, so the best thing to do is just learn by yours and other mistakes and dedicate time and effort into it.

    This true...

I've been thinking about contacting a few image and file hosts to talk about integration. If you can find a forum plug in that you can implement on your site to the forum site, members can post images straight from the editor window (Live Journal does this with Photobucket).

I'm not ready for such integration now, but if you can come up with a decent and non-intrusive vB plugin, then send me a message and I'll bring it up with my forum founders for consideration.
