take it you have all seen the news. another terrorist attack but this time in scotland..

tis getting crazy now and the worst thing about this is we r due to fly out from gatwick on wednesday to go on holiday. just praing theres not any delays lol.

good news is that none of the attacks were any good. but nrly did cause carnage on al occasions..

The london one would have been the worst if it was successful. An ol' fashioned nail & shrapnel bomb. :(

Not quite, the potential damage to the economy both local and national, the increased sense of insecurity to the population and the cost and inconvenience of extra security means that they will have a big effect.
Glad that no innocent people have been injured though.

These terrorists are just amateurs, thank god.

This is just the start though.

Amateur terrorists - professional terrorists, they are all the same.

I don't think this will be the end unfortunately.

There are a few people flexing their muscles at the moment with the introduction of a new prime minister, and probably our eyes are off terrorism and war and on to the recent floods.

We should do the opposite of what they want, send more troops to Afghanistan and Iraq.

Theres always going to be threats and potential attacks but 1:10,000 will actually succeed. And NONE will be as big as September 11.

    Just my $0.02 ;)

Birmingham and Manchester, perhaps Liverpool. If they are interested in seats of government, then add in Cardiff.

What is this in this thread for?

I live in London and travel those areas frequently and I have a close friend in Glascow. Any situation in which someone is trying to kill thousands of people is not over hype.

It's very upsetting for me to hear about such attacks , attacks on humanity iitself.

The ruling elites over-hype incidents like these to create fear in the population. Fearful people are easier to control. So don't let this scare you. It wasn't as bad as they're making it out to be.

I'm wondering if it wasn't just a warning, more of a "show of strength" then an attack... Just my opinion...

This is terrible why people would sacrifice themselves to kill innocent people, where's the glory? Where's the honour?

I find it sad that all of this is happening - Why can't the world just live in peace?

At least two of the 'suspects' arrested for the recent attacks have been identified as doctors, one originally from Jordan and another from Iraq.

When those whose avowed purpose is to save and preserve life, turn to the deliberate attempt to take life, then it gives us a whole new insight into how sad this world has become!
