What's going on with SEO MOZ's page strength tool?
It looks like it is missing data all the time. One time the alexa ranking may be missed, some other time the full URL and/or domain PR, or even backlinks number.
I am testing my directory there from time to time, and I get various results every time.
In fact I don't remember when was the last time it worked properly and providing all info.
    Anybody knows what's going on?

Yes, I liked it a while ago, and then I stopped using it because it seemed to never work.

The tool is broken and doesn't refresh all data.. hence the results are quite wonky..

    Nothing --
They are just joking --and the tool too is joking. :D
But seriously - they are just providing as much facility as possible to paid members --fork out $39/m and you will get the info.

I have no use of that tool anymore -- now I only use this TOOL -- though Rob needs to work how to fetch Data on sites hosted in the UK. I can't the required data of those sites:(

    Has anybody tried paid membership?
PS data is all I get for 39$/month, or are there other features as well?
I believe it has other features...
    Anybody knows about it?

I am a premium member at SEOMOZ and can confirm that the tool is indeed malfunctioning for all users, missing data from various sections at various times etc.

The value in the premium membership is their fantastic and detailed articles....

I don' know why so many use this tool. It never shows accurate results since I know about it.

It is ironic to me because this tool seems very popular yet the owner dont try to make it better.

For those using Firefox, there is a great free seo adds on. It gives you the same data as SEMOZ Page Strenght, but you have those data straight in your SERPs... They also have a Look up tools that instantly gives you the SEO data for a website.

It is quicker and more user friendly than SEOMOZ Page Strengh

Check on my blog for more info, or on the SEO Book website

What I understand after "refreshing" missing data is you guys are trying to cash the tool users. Instead if simply declaring that tool is only for paid members you first miss some data intentionally and then deceivingly send them to premium members offer page when they try to refresh.

I'd say its a sheer sales tactic.

I mean everything has remain same, all parameters and target websites from where tool fetches the data are same. What happened that tool stopped working all of the sudden?
Even if something has changed, i don't see why a programmer cannot fetch/parse the data.

It'd be hard to deal with inaccuracies if problem is with algorithm part and PS calculation part, but in fetching the data .. I don't see any point.

    2 cents.

PS. If you are serious in offering the tool for free, I can hire an outsourced programmer to fetch the data and solve the problem for you.
