Hello - I've set up a website of images taken for a college project. Take a look! http://www.tubephotos.com
Those are really clean and crisp photographs! Your subway system looks much much more modern and clean than ours
Due to tripod restrictions mainly my Canon 24-105 IS L, can shoot hand held at 1/15, 200 ISO exif data. Image 1. 6 sec at f/22 ISO 100, 17mm. Tripod Image 2. 1/3 at F/11 ISO 200 17mm Tripod Image 3. 1/15 at F/4 ISO 200 20mm sneaky mini-tripod! Photoshop, never heard of this programme, is it new.
sweet, I have that lens 20D has always looked so clean even at high ISO's 400+ I love the perspective in the last one especially, were you on the ground?
About on inch off the ground. Here's the original unprocessed image. My 20d has taken over 40000 shots and is due for replacement early next year with the 40D. A fine camera that has served me well.
That's the Jubilee line extension - has only been open for the last decade or something like that - it represents the best 5% of the tube! Most London Underground stations are old, smelly and in a general state of disrepair!
Many stations are poor, but loads have been cleaned up in the last year, despite of what you read in the papers. Here's a few that havn't, I'm glad I shot them before they are sanitised. Way way too small, but an interesting station. It will be gone within five years. Sadly I've had to stop the project for a few weeks, until things calm down. London's is on alert and it would been foolish to continue, photographers will be stopped.
Did they not say anything about your photos? Last time I was on the tube I heard an announcement about cameras being prohibted or some such tosh. Guess they're worried terrorists are going to recce the place again.
nice post work!!! and thanks for sharing the original. real progressive PS work or just the standard lighting, contrast, saturation, curve corrections?
