Whats in the New Referral 2.0

Hey

I'm just wondering whats products are in the new referrals that Google has released. All i have in the product set up is:

• Adsense
• Adwords
• Checkout
• Apps
• Firefox
• Google Pack

Are there any new ones, because i'm interested and want to try them out.

What does it do?

 

Well, I can't access it myself yet, but I assume it is very similar to CPA campaigns from CJ.

Basically you select a product/service you want to promote. For example Ringtones. You place the ad on your site, and each time a visitor to your site clicks the ad and performs a certain action (such as registering/buying a product/downloading a ringtone) you get paid a certain amount.

 

I am using Adsense, Firefox, and GoogleApps. Firefox and GoogleApps work good, Adsense, well most everyone has it so it's hard to promote.

 

there is no Google Pack option in my account, why?

 

It may not be in your country?

 

Pay per action will not be for all sites. Basically what it is really is that if you know about all them affiliate programs on the web that pay per sale or per lead, it is just like that. You earn from some of the referrals per lead and some per sale and maybe some another way. They just call it pay per action as it covers all the ways that you can earn from this new referral program. I hope you can choose which programs you want to promote.

 

Just saw the msg of this referral 2 on my adsense page and was wondering what the heck it is. Any ways i have selected few products and now have put a 600x160 skyscraper. I guess you cannot change colors of your link title, url, desc, background and you have to select pre made color combination. I shall let you know if it converts well .

 

i dont know, its kind of bare at the moment, mostly just pills and stupid stuff like that have flooded it!

Have you guys found anything good in it that would be interesting to resell?

Google Referal 2.0 Now appear on my Adsense panel, I have try created some group of Google products which can be more than 15 products.

here one of product, offer more than one commission structur

 

They have added many new publishers. It's a bit frustrating as many don't have any banners - only a generic 480x60 banner with a link in it. It's really ugly.

There are a few gems in there. However, it takes time to go through and find them. Also, there are text links for some products but not all.

can some one give some example of site using referral 2.0, and how it can improve the earnings

 

I saw a download offer that pays "Try0.01". Well it had that next to it. It was to download a game and try it or something. This was for UK offers so it's probably $0.02 per download. You will get more than that per click and it will probably take anywhere from 5 - 25 visitors sent to their site before they actually download it giving you an earning of $0.004 - 0.0008 per click. Maybe it meant something else, I'm not sure as I'm new to this aswell, but if it is paying that much then that is very poor.

Although saying this, I have seen some good paying ones and you can select which ones you want to use which is good. The downside is that the smaller networks are still better as with Google PPA you have to have the "Ads by Google" on most of the text blocks.
