Attached is the stats for my directory (June)

Free Link Directory <-- Catch Only accept PR2+ sites
-- so don't get mad at me if you don't get approved for your PR0 sites.

Your comments on that would be nice.

Any suggestions to improve that directory is appreciated.

As I know the good part:

I feel pretty good, it is getting more and more traffic and looks like it is heading to be an authority site.

    Bad Part:

In need of moving the site to a VPS or Dedicated server.
-- My Shared host kind of gave enough warnings.
-- Thanks to them, that they did not pull the plug on me.

here is the other link to the stats page.

    Look at the image here

last two days I got 10,000 page views.

    Thanks

May I know -- what makes you think that your directory is heading towards becoming Authority Directory? I would laso like to know how many inbound links you have from authority sites (not merely directories) for your directory?:)

    Interesting indeed.

I am just happy based on the Traffic Growth.
Thinking that would take my directory to be an Authority site.
-- If you have a site listed and if my directory gets good traffic your site get some value, correct?
-- So, if the trend continue, I maintain it as free... Hope some day I get the go..

Mainly here to take suggestons on how to become an Aughtority site.

    Your suggestionsa are welcome.

Is it a free directory? What is the URL? How many submissions per day?

Ok. Congrats for your sucess and best wishes for your future too.

But even if you get 25K unique per day --your site won't get authority.
Getting authority status has same logic as that of PR. But PR does not come into equation with attaining authority status. There are PR3 sites which are authority sites.

    I hope I am clear.:)

The olny authority sites that I know are Aviva and PhpLinkDirectory

And they both have tons of back links.

is that the one that make an autority site?

If that is the criteria, I would never get there.

If there is any other way to get to Authority Status, I would love to know.

Url in the first post at the top.

    Thanks

Backlinks also do not matter much. Check my blog feed.
But hey -- I am not Google and I don't make the algo:p It is just my continuous endeavor to try to understand the foolish Google Bot:p

I think your traffic is really high, but now you have to figure out what the quality of it is, what pages are getting the most hits, are folks buying sponsor links, that sort of thing.

How many uniques do you get from all those visits? I would see if you can figure out how many of those submissions are coming from auto submitters. Does yahoo ads make you much earnings?

I would suggest a new logo, start a contest and get a nice low-cost one made as it will make your site look more professional.

I have a pet peeve about the look of the home page sponsored links, I bought a few on a site that displayed it like that and they look really bad.

The simple answer is my directory make $0.10 a day in YPN ads.
So, there is no way I can buy traffic.

All the traffic is natural. (Bots accout for lots of it)
Rest are from submissions and SE traffic.

It you look at the Sponsored links - They are almost like site wide links.
For get about the look, they get you the most value you can think of..

    Thanks
