Can you please explain me how adlogger help in preventing click bombing? What do u meant my "periodically reporting to google"? Can you give me the format of reports you are giving, and frequency of the reporting.
no if I seen any dramatic change in my any of the channel I am mailing them with the click time and the url of the site, that is more than enough.
that sounds good. Any one please explain how adlogger help in finding the click frauds. Can any one please describe the working of adlogger. I tried to access adlogger offcial site buy its down.
With adlogger you can set how many clicks can 1 IP perform over your ads within a certain time period (in hours). The only bad thing of adlogger is that it counts as clicks every time a person hovers the mouse pointer over the ads, even if it won't click, but at least it will protect your ads and not display for the users that will reach the allowed amount of "clicks" on your ads.
From Trevor Fitzgerald's Blog (Adlogger creator) "AdLogger was an open-source project I founded in May of 2006. In just over a year’s time, AdLogger had gained fame as one of the best click tracking programs on the market. Unfortunately the development had to be put to a halt due to some changes in the Google AdSense code, rendering AdLogger inaccurate."
nice joke I guess click bombing does not ban your site from adsense unless you are bombed from the same ip that u use to login your adsense account... so I think click bombing is not a big issue.. has anyone experienced reverses due to click bombing here?
Any ways click bombing is a nightmare of every publishers. One of my friend has lost two adsense accounts and his main income source was adsense.
I agree with B7R Click Bombing is not an issue! Not following the Google TOS as webmaster is much more likely to get your Adsense account banned.
