I have worked on backlinks...now what else?

any ideas guys? are articles submission and social bookmarking really going to make a difference or continue with the one way link building?

 

Any links you can get will make a difference. The nice thing about social bookmarking is that it can help you to create a lot of links. I would do all the types of link building you can.

Concentrate on your content.
Great content will bring you traffic from SE and will help you build quality backlinks.

are other ways

 

yep, those would make some difference but you shouldn't stop link building coz its like your doing something in future.

 

thanks guys, any thoughts on having a banner available to my members and having them post it on their website, are there any pitfalls to that? can it bring my serps down if a lot of my members post my banner on their site linking to mine?

 

wow, 30k members? that's cool.. anyway, keep on doing your off page optimization.. like forum posting, be sure to put on your link as your sig and another things is that, post on to the forums site that has a high traffic like DP.. Good luck!

 

thanks dL03, I just made 10 posts on DP hehe so I just put the links in my SIG; how important is it to constantly update my content on my homepage or change meta tags on my homepage...

30K members is huge I bet more than half the people here won't make 1K members on any of their sites I worked my ass off and still only hit 800 members. Nice site you have there. Add the link to your sig when posting to get links, add to directories, comment on blogs with the URL, bookmarking, and if you have a little money buy some links.

 

thanks smithers, there is a big market in the US for dogs, I beleive thats how I was able to get that many in only 12 months; I just put the links in my SIG on DP I have been placing my links in those high PR directories located here, http://www.avivadirectory.com/strongest-directories/ , they could be costly so I average about inserting into 10 of them per month, i hope that is not too many....
