Immigration Bill Defeated!!!!!!!!!! Maybe this Country Does have a Chance!

I would like to see the day that all illegal immigrants in USA leaves the country and the legal population have to do all the work that the illegals now are doing. Then you would call for them to come back very quickly, you dont have an idea how good they are for your country. So please think before you want to throw them out. In all western countries the illegals makes it possible for us to sit on our lazy asses and enjoy the society.

Because if you go to an emergency room, you can walk out without paying a dime. They just send you on your way afterwards. Anti-illegal immigration. And its not racist. It is border enforcement. No one cares where they are illegal from. Fact is, the vast majority come from Mexico, so that is where the focus is. But to assume its because of racism just demeans your own position.

Furthermore, no one cares about immigration on the legal standpoint. If 100% of the population of mexico decided to immigrate legally. No one would care. They are obeying the law. It is not a race issue. If "racism" is as deeply as you care to look at it; then you have your own issues to deal with.

 

I'm pretty sure that the regular american(born and raised) looks at all mexicans as illegals.
I almost had a fight with a train agent who was being an asshole to a lady who asked him where the train was going. Yes, she was mexican.

You speak as if the immigrants made some easy choice to do it illegally! We're talking about papers, here. Why do you feel safer if an immigrant was able to pay for papers? Some people feel that the Earth belongs to us all, and that if some thugs with guns set up a line and say,"don't cross," that that is a crime.
And the territory you feel authorized to lord over was violently occupied after a war with Mexico in the first place. Who are Americans to tell Mexicans that they can't come to places named "Los Angeles" "San Francisco"...et al?
Illegal immigrants have frequently risked life, limb and liberty just to cross that evil line which keeps the wealth in and the deprived third world in poverty.
Interesting that products have no trouble crossing the border. You will accept their things, but not their people.
People who harp on illegal immigrants sound overpriveleged, selfish, and hateful.
Valuing documents more than people is insane. These are human beings. And sharing a country with them does no harm at all.

In India we are sick and tired of Bangladeshi illegal immigrants. they cause havoc in the country. I'd like to see same effort taken by Indian Govt against illegal immigrants in India.

 

No-one has answered the fact that the white Europeans who call themself non-immigrants are in fact immigrants themselves!

Why aren't the whites classed as illegal immigrants? After all they are immigrants from Europe - arent they?

Aren't all people in Europe immigrants from someplace else as well? Aren't all people living in South American immigrants as well? If you go back far enough, everyone ever place is an immigrant, right?

There is a different government here now. The government gets to determine its borders and who comes in. It's not a difficult concept, really.

So you agree that you are an illegal alien in your own country, where-ever that is? So, by your analysis, anyone should be able to come into your country, from where-ever they want, because your ancestors did it however many years ago?

You're not familiar with the issue enough to avoid it. FACT, Europeans were immigrating long before 150 years ago. FACT, Native America Indians also conquered other Native American Indian tribes over lands as well. My Great[10] Grandfather came here in 1737 on the ship Virtuous Grace. Along that generation, my Great[6] Grandfather married a Comanche Indian. Imagine the complexity there. My forefathers fought my forefathers. Immigration was not illegal then. Over the past 40 years or so, our country (not yours) have implemented immigration laws. Among other reasons, to weed out undesirables.

People have always come to America. America is a great place that attracts people from all over the world who want to come and experience being free and opportunities to make a better life. That is what America is about. We have laws regarding immigration. Europe has immigration laws as well, though I'm not sure how they compare. I suspect in 20-30 years, at least parts of Europe will no longer be called Europeans, but rather Eurabians. Just a matter of time.

 

What you fail to see here, that those white European immigrants developed the country to what it is now today. they went there when there was nothing special in there. It is not about the land, it is about a countries economics and integrity.

They are not against Immigration, they are against ILLEGAL immigration that put any country's integrity in danger.

 

I happen to agree with what Teddy Roosevelt wrote in a letter not a speech. I have verified the statements attributed to him as having been penned by him.

So to my way of thinking, they would be speaking or learning English and not waving flags of another contry. They would also arrive by LEGAL means.

It's called an anchor baby. People come here when they are pregnant. Give birth in an american hospital (the kid is a natural born citizen) thus removing the illegal parent is impossible. It should be, that if the parent is illegal, so should the child.
