Re-Designed Digital Point Logo

Hey

I was a bit bored one day, so I decided to redesign the Digital Point Logo into a more Web 2.0 style. Its not the best quality since the original image wasn't the best to start off with.



Tell me what you think.

I don't like the original logo and I don't like this one either.

 

I prefer the original logo, simple and sober

Looks off. Good try nevertheless, but I believe this could go into the Graphics section.

I wondered if I should put it in the graphics section, but here seemed more appropriate to put it here.

If I had a higher quality image it would look way better.

 

I like it...too blurry though.

 

Thats one of the problem which photoshop it doesn't do well at up sampling an image.

 

Its better than the current one.
I have the same problem when i edit a image ad then save it......its not the same quality,may be b'cause of the format I save it in.

 

The one right now is ugly, especially for a site this big..We should hold a contest or something..

Bringing the web 2.0 look to the logo with those gloss? The old one has grown on everyone

 

I think Shawn likes simple the font on DP right now makes it look more like a business forum and the plainess adds to it I like how it is now.

 

The present design is simple and looks good. I don't feel like changing.

 

i think it looks pretty much the same..except for the shadow
i've never really thought about a possible DP logo redesign contest in the forums before this though..that would be entertaining
