Dargree -- Mate -will I ever get your mods installed on my directory?

I didn't want to do this --
but after paying you few weeks back --for the Link popularity/Alexa/ABCD/Closed Category mods ($10) - I am still waiting for them to be installed on my directory.

Now - I know you only sell them --and do not provide installation service. But everybody here knows -- I am the dumbest of all directory owners when it comes to script/template installation. I have to hire people even to install a Template

You also agreed to install the mods for me. I have waited --waited --waited --waited -

Still waiting.
In the meantime - I sent you countless PMs. But you didn't even reply to most of them.
I offered you installation fee --if you take any.

I didn't want it to be a PUBLIC issue ( I mentioned it in my last PM 2 days back) -- but you leave me no choice but to disclose it infront of everybody. After over a months wait-- I feel it my duty now to let everybody know and I would like to know why I am yet to get the mods for my directory

I downloaded 4 mods 2 days back --but don't know whom to hire -as I think it is the writer himself who could do it better than anybody.

Is it called service?

 

I think it would be in your both interests not to discuss this publicly. No offense, but if you want to direct this message to dargree, send him a pm but the rest of the community would rather not read this.

But as I mentioned on my OP -- I have exhausted that channel. I mentioned that -- I sent him several PMs -

If you are sending your PM's to Dargree then that is why you are not getting a response. I think his user name is dargre, same on phpld forums. He does do installation and he actually recommends it with some of his mods. He did a nice job for me on a few of my sites. There might also be a misunderstanding as his English is good but not great.

Lol guys -- I have been using forums for some time and know how to send PM correctly.

I wait for him to be online -- click on his user ID for profile-- and then SEND PM . There is no way --to miss that way.-

Just checked my sent record --

I sent one on 21st ---waited--waited --and then sent another on 27th.

No--Reply.

I'll just be happy to get a reply from him.

If he is not replying, he might have been busy or perhaps forgot to reply back to you but Dargre is a great person & will surely help you out. You may try to send him a msg using THIS Link

On the side note, Link popularity & ABCD are very simple Mods. I hear you clearly what you said but trust me, it just a matter of trying. Nothing will happen to your directory, (Just keep a backup of your file) play a bit and you will do it your self. (Or we can all help you out )

"Closed Category Mod" .... i am not sure as I haven't used it myself.
And I never heard of any "Alexa" mod from dargre. (Do you mean the Alexa graph?)

 

I mean no ILL for him. --I am just frustrated at not getting the mods installed on my directory even after more than one month.
My frustration goes higher when I don't get any response from the person ---as I always try to catch him on when he is online.

Due to my weakness -- I can't even imagine installing a template --as I don't even know how to use FTP So -- I am always ready to pay to those that helps me with improvement in my directory features.
I assume he is great person to most of you --but there is just this little issue with me. Hopefully --he will solve it as soon as he knows. I am just trying to get some kind of response from him --as he does not reply to my PMs

You paid USD 10.00 for mods pack what is extremely low price for some preety advanced mods.
But you think I will spend hours on your directories installing mods in the same price.
Do you think I'm naive and have nothing better to do?
I would not write this until you post such stupid thing.
Everyone can try to install my mods as all come with very detailed and clear installation instructions.
And as it is written on my page: If you find it too difficult you can ask for my installation.
But this doesn't mean I will do that for free.
Why should I?

There are always few clients waiting for my job who payed for installation or other code solutions.
They will always be first on my list. This is clear and understandable.

It's very reasonable I think.
This is very simple - you pay - I install.
Never received any payment from you apart the payment for mods pack.

This is very said people have prices $30 and more for single link in their directory
But are not ready to pay $5-10 one time fee for the code they wish to have.

I take $5.00 for each mod installation apart sponsored ads which is huge and require lot of time to install and full adjusting to template.
Will not start installing without payment.

This are really minimum prices.
Still doesn't require this.
Everyone can try to install mods himself.

Then I bought the mods for my other directory -- and you said you would install them FREE once you get time ( you were having some personal pronblems).

Think better you should take some very basic lessons of html and php instead of crying here and trying to blackmail me - if I don't install mods you will write on DP

1. Agree to a fair price and complete the work
2. Get someone else to install the mods (can help if needed)
It really sounds like a misunderstanding. You both have valid points, but hope you too will try to "kiss and make up"
